If you're serious about creating a great home based small business, I'm going to assume you've already got the foundation laid -- meaning you've got your business plan, your marketing strategy…the basics.

Once you've got the basics, here are 10 Unbreakable Rules to incorporate into your business philosophy!

1. Your BIG business idea is so simple that you, your team and your customers can "get" in seconds. If you have to spend more than 30 seconds explaining your at home based business -- you're doomed!

2. Look for ways to create at least 10 times the value for any price you charge. If you charge $10, your product and services should be at least a $100 value. Your rewards are directly related to the value you provide.

3. Charge a premium price so you've got the margin you need to provide an extraordinary experience coupled with extraordinary value. People don't mind paying extra when they get more than they paid for!

4. Give your customers the reason why they should do business with you and pay you a premium. This is called your unique selling proposition. If you can't tell the story about WHY your product or service is better than the next guy -- you better get a new line of work.

5. Get paid BEFORE you deliver your product or service. Not only that, figure out how to create a recurring revenue stream from that transaction.

6. You get to create the rules for how YOU run your top home based business. Think about and then design what your best life would look like and create your work from home company to fit that lifestyle -- not the other way around.

7. Focus on the critical few ideas and activities that will make or break your at home based business. Don't get sucked into working on the minutia. Spend your energy on high-return activities.

8. Find partners or team members who are strong where you are weak. Don't try to do what you're not good at and don't like to do anyway. Pay them well for great results.

9. You cannot buy a good reputation and once it's gone, you'll have a difficult time getting it back. Act will full integrity at all times. Honor your obligations and your commitments. Under promise and over deliver.

10. Never exchange hours for dollars. Learn to leverage you time, use other people's talents effectively, create assets that perform even while you sleep, and learn to create once - and get paid multiple times.

Keep these immutable rules handy and always check your activities against them. If you find yourself violating any one of them, immediately course-correct and get back on track. You will start to see results in your home based small business very quickly if you focus on these 10 success laws. These apply even if you are just trying to earn extra money from home.
