Great Tips For Your Top Home Business

By now you've probably heard the old saying, nothing ever happens until a sale is made. And while that is not "factually" true for home based small business professionals, the point is that the customer sale is a very important even in any business.
The thing about it is that in this day, where many sales are about as de-personalized as you can get, it's easy for your "thank-yous" to get lost in the shuffle. You buy something online, and the thank you is always the same bland memo -- just like all the other same bland memos you get from an businesses on line.
We've come to expect expediency. No personal thanks. Just some robotic auto-responder saying thanks.
It's time to think about how you treat you customers. Do you print "Thank you for doing business!"on your invoices. Does your auto-responder send them a generic thanks? Do you every really let your customer know you appreciate their doing business at your work from home company?
If you answered yes to any of the previous questions it's time to stop the presses and think about how to let your customers know you REALLY appreciate their business.
Something like actually paying attention to them -- helping them to feel truly valued.
One of my favorite sales authors - Jeffrey Gitomer - wrote the book "Customer Satisfaction is Worthless - Customer Loyalty is Priceless". You job, as a top home based business professional, is to figure out how to make your customers loyal -- not just satisfied.
When you think about it on a grading scale -- satisfactory is not all that great! I rate it about a "C". But loyalty -- that ranks an "A+" in my book.
Figure out ways to say - I appreciate you. I care about you. I care what you think. My at home based business wants to help provide you with solutions.
Think about ways to add extra value to their purchases. Create ways to build relationships with them. There are hundreds of ideas; newsletters, weekly tips, free tele-classes, resource guides, free training, etc.
One of my personal coaches -- yes, even I have a coach who is Carrie Wilkerson (you can check her out here). Invariably, when you buy from her -- she throws in extra bonuses after the fact. A lot of marketers will throw in bonuses ahead of the sale, which Carrie does too. But when you buy something from Carrie -- you get a whole bunch of unexpected, high value stuff.
She has a great customer base, and she has loyal clients to the max.
Figure out ways you can use to add extra value to your
customers. Celebrate them for what they are -- because without them, you
wouldn't have a top home business! Remember, valuing your customers applies whether you're working full time at your work from home company or part time while you earn extra money from home and working a regular job.
