“5.5 Super Success Secrets for Your Top Home Business!”

There are so many great ideas for how to make your new work from home company successful, I just wanted to talk about the ones I like to use. Our clients seem to identify best with these and I wanted to share them here with you.

These are tried and true success secrets and you'll hear me talk about them over and over. They bear repeating and it doesn't help for you to just read them -- you actually have to take action:

1. Decide on exactly what you want in life - then write it down. Be as clear as you can possibly be. Use quantifiable, specific language so you can know when you've achieved your goals. If you want to make a lot of money with your home based small business -- that's great. But it's not nearly specific enough. You need to be able to say how much money you'll have by when. You should do this for every area in your life - physical, financial, spiritual, relationships, education, etc.

2. Decide the most important skill you should develop that would move you into the top 10% of at home based business professionals. Then put together a detailed plan to acquire that skill. Once you've attained it, decide on the next skill, the next skill and so on. Don't stop building your skills, one skill at a time. Remember success is a journey, not a destination.

3. Identify one limiting factor that is holding you back from achieving your goals. Then work on deleting that limitation or obstacle. For most of us, we can be our own worst enemy and we tend to limit ourselves by our thinking. We occasionally want to blame "external" factors -- but it's not the factors themselves, it's how we internally handle the factors that determine our success. Identification is the first step. Then getting rid of them is the next! It's all in how you think about things that makes the difference.

4. Create a list of things you want to have, things you want to do, and things you want to be. Write the list in just that order. That way you'll see the things you want to have, know what you need to do to get them and understand who you need to become to achieve them. My friend, Jim Rohn, used to say, "Set yourself a goal to become a millionaire. Not so much to achieve the goal financially, but because of the kind of person you will become to be a millionaire."

5. Commit to taking 100% responsibility of the outcomes of your life. The biggest difference between being a successful top home based business entrepreneur and being someone stuck in the same old rut for the rest of his life, is this single trait. If you're still stuck in the rat race, start looking at the reasons? Do you have a list a mile long of things you think you have no control over? If so, JUST STOP! Successful entrepreneurs don't make excuses for their results, they take responsibility and control. Change your thinking, change your life.

5.5. Live your life as if those things you've written down have already come to pass. Be grateful for your current bounty. Tell your story the way you want it to be -- not the way it is today. Always think in terms of a brighter future and it will surely come. There is no doubt.

Those who succeed in life are those who truly believe they will. They trust they will be successful and the actions they take ensure their success. Mindset and belief are key -- that and being clear about what you want.

Ben Stein used to say, "The #1 reason people don't get what they want, is because they don't know what they want."

Its true -- decide what you want for your top home based business, and work towards it every single moment of your waking hours even if your objective is to just earn extra money from home. You cannot help but be successful.
